WIKING equips this new cable excavator with the corresponding high cabin and new scrap grabber. The F 301 is today regarded as the most well-known Fuchs excavator, having been delivered in more than 15,000 units over two decades. In hindsight, the success may not be surprising, as the manufacturer continuously developed the excavator during its production years and also offered numerous working attachments. Built from the beginning at the Fuchs factory in Bad Schönborn, the company Schaeff took over Fuchs production in 1985, which was then integrated into the Terex Group in 2002. WIKING is dedicated to the original version of the F 301 from the years between 1959 and 1970 – clearly recognizable by the engine cover on the front right, which was intended for maintenance work on the original model.
