The Safety Leash, also known as the Kite Killer, is designed for safety when flying kites. If you find yourself in a dangerous or confusing situation, you simply need to release the kite, allowing it to glide safely to the ground. This helps you avoid putting yourself or others in danger. Additionally, a positive side effect is that the kite cannot escape once you let go of your bar or handles.
To use the safety leash, you need to attach it with a loop knot to one of the lines behind your bar or handles. You also secure the Kite Killer with a Velcro strap to your wrist. In an emergency situation, you only need to let go of the controls. The kite will tip to the side and descend relatively gently, as it will only be attached to one line.
If you need to separate abruptly from your kite, pull the red panic loop, which will quickly release the Velcro strap on your wrist. The Velcro strap fits perfectly on the wrist, as it is universally adjustable and therefore very comfortable.
