Yes: The main difference usually lies not in shaving performance, but in features, the case and, in some cases, colour. Among the newer Braun models, ‘Pro+’ generally refers to the updated generation with an improved shaving head; within a single generation, the differences are often minor and mainly concern accessories and what’s included in the set. In short: - Performance/shave: Within the same generation, the technical differences are usually minor; Braun and retailers describe the differences between many models primarily in terms of what’s included in the pack and design. - Pro vs. Pro+: Pro+ refers to the newer, updated generation with an improved shaving head and additional refinements; the older Pro generation remains very similar in terms of functionality. - Case: There are versions with a simple travel case and versions with the thicker PowerCase, which automatically recharges the shaver whilst on the move. - Charging station: Some sets come with a dedicated cleaning and charging station, whilst others include only basic accessories; this is often the biggest practical difference. - Colour: Many model numbers differ mainly in terms of colour and the included accessories. Regarding your question: yes, the simple pouch versus the PowerCase is exactly the sort of typical difference between sets. Technically, two models from the same Series 9 Pro range are often very similar; the model name therefore frequently says more about the accessories and the set than about the actual shaving experience. For the specific device with product number 9460cc, the key features according to the available product data are as follows: men’s shaver, wet and dry shaving, 4 shaving elements, battery-powered, 60-minute runtime and 60-minute charging time.

I only clean the device when I have to charge it. Currently, with the new battery, this is the case about every 14 days. o Considered, the cartridges last a long time. I also clean them after use, let them dry and refill them with a much cheaper replacement product from the internet. Works flawlessly for years. Opinions differ as to whether this device is the best Braun. In any case, the much more expensive "Plus" shaving head is useless. Fortunately, the shaving heads of the series 9 also fit. What has bothered me with every Braun shaver so far is that the shaving head fixation is too weak. If you press a little harder, the shaving head disengages or moves one position further.
