Do I understand correctly that the cutting lengths are added together? So, for example, 2.0 + 6 mm = 8mm? The next step would then be 0.8+9mm, right? And what is between 8 and 9.8 mm? Is there simply 1.8mm missing?

To achieve the cutting length indicated on the comb attachment, the dial must be set to 0.8 mm according to the instruction manual. Thus, for 3 mm cutting length, one simply has to use 0.8 mm cutting length and the 3 mm comb attachment.

Without the comb attachment, the cutting lengths are: 0.8 - 1.1 - 1.4 - 1.7 and 2.0 mm. This means that you can then increase the cutting length by 0.3 mm each time.

For example, 0.8 mm + 3 mm comb attachment = 3 mm, 1.1 mm + 3 mm comb attachment = 3.3 mm, etc.

Cutting heights from 0.8 to 2mm are set directly on the rotary wheel of the unit (steps 0.8, 1.1, 1.4, 1.7 and 2.0mm). In combination with the various comb attachments (3 available, namely 3mm/4mm; 6mm/9mm; 12mm/15mm), the result is always the variant of the first-mentioned cutting height settings plus the selected attachment.

Examples: 0.8mm plus comb attachment 3mm = 3.8mm etc.; 1.4mm plus comb attachment 12mm = 13.4mm etc.
