Question about Panasonic ER-DGP82

Hello @all Just have a quick question. Just bought the Panasonic, fully charged, tested it. Super part! But the upper LED "charge control light" does not turn green even during operation. Does it only become active when the charge level is too low? Or is the LED defective?

Helpful answer

So far, I have never observed that this LED has ever lit up. Therefore, I can't imagine anything about its functionality. The hair clipper is otherwise ok and has fulfilled my expectations.

On page 11 of the instruction manual it states: "Charging is required when the charge indicator light is flashing", with a picture showing the upper of the two lights (with battery symbol) as flashing.
It also says: "The unit can still be used for about 5 minutes when the charge indicator light is flashing". This means that this LED only starts to light up, i.e. flash, shortly before the battery runs out of power.
