This shaver is a real joke, thought I was being taken for a ride or something! The part turns off immediately when plugging in the power plug WT...? It can only charge at the plug but not be operated at the power generally A JOKE!

as it can also be used under running water (e.g. in the shower), it makes sense that it cannot be operated on mains power. purely as a precautionary measure.
