Question about Philips Sonicare DiamondClean 9000
Why do I get an adapter (which can no longer be removed!!!) for the Sonicare DiamondClean 9000? I'm not interested in a toothbrush with an adapter, I just want to charge it with a mains cable. I have not found anything about this in the product description.

1st variant Remove the lid on the back of the travel case. Plug the USB cable into a charging adapter and connect it to the mains. Then place the toothbrush in the front. The battery charging symbol flashes on the bottom of the toothbrush.
2nd variant Place the toothbrush in the glass provided and place the glass on the charger provided. The battery charge symbol flashes on the bottom of the toothbrush.
