Question about Oral-B iO Series 10

Why does Oral-B still use a proprietary special plug for the power supply of the charging station and charging travel case in a premium device in 2026, even though a direct competitor has long been offering USB-C for their travel case? For a travel product, it is difficult to understand why one should have to carry an additional, separate special power adapter. In fact, one should consistently boycott such proprietary solutions until manufacturers switch to a modern standard. For this very reason, I would currently choose Philips. Should Oral-B ever abandon this proprietary plug policy, I would certainly consider the brand again – provided that the cleaning performance remains as good as it is today.
