When the Hot Shot LO was reintroduced a few seasons ago, its look was modernized. With a mesh base, this year's version of the classic sneaker-ball silhouette is ready for summer. The leather inserts on the side and under the eye stay are complemented by buttery soft suede inserts on the fender, forefoot, and quarter of the heel. The molded plastic lacing system and double eyelets at the top are a nice nod to the OG version, which first appeared in our catalogs around 1988. The tongue features KangaROOS' secret pocket on the inside, and the lining is again made of mesh. The outsole is made of abrasion-resistant rubber, ensuring good grip and pleasant durability. This great retro sneaker is enhanced by a small extra detail. Where you would normally find a ROOS logo on the side, this version of the Hot Shot features a small window displaying an American flag instead of the company logo.
