When it's time for the really big things, the Base Camp Duffel XL from The North Face comes into play. It offers a volume of 132 liters and can, at least theoretically, be carried with the detachable shoulder straps. The travel bag is made from water-repellent, abrasion-resistant PVC, with an even sturdier base made of polyamide. All seams are double-stitched. The D-shaped, water-repellent zipper is safely hidden under a flap and makes it easy to search through your luggage. Inside, mesh pockets help keep things organized and prevent dirt from spreading everywhere. On the outside, you'll find a water-repellent pocket for IDs and other items, as well as various material loops and compression straps. To help share the load, the Base Camp Duffel XL has two padded handles.
