It comes from farms in the Rio Grande do Sul region and is tanned in Brazil without harmful or banned chemicals. Veja uses compliant dyes and emphasises the responsible use of water in the tanning process. This suede is then coated with PFC-free water-repellent oils to protect the trainers from light rain.
