We're proud to present the GAME LO, a model we're bringing back for the first time since the 1980s. This shoe is the low-profile version of one of the oldest and most prestigious models in our archives, the SLAM DUNK I, which made its debut in 1981. At the time, the SLAM DUNK I was billed as "the championship-levelball basketball shoe". In the good tradition of basketball shoesball from that era, the GAME LO upper is made entirely of leather. The base of the upper, as well as the colored overlays, are made of high-quality napa leather, which takes its name nom from Napa, California, where the napa leather manufacturing process was created by Emanuel Manasse, a German tanner who worked for the Sawyer Tanning Company. In addition to these parts, a small overlay of soft suede leather is placed on the lower part of the heel to create a bit of contrast. Another sneaker classic from our archives makes a comeback - not for the first time, but certainly at the right moment. The Game Hi features an upper made entirely of leather. Both the base of this high-top silhouette and the overlays are made from soft leather. What makes the Game Hi special is the ankle strap for added support during tight turns and quick direction changes, as well as the lacing system with its external eyelets.
We have branded the ankle strap and the heel tab with our Roos logo. These two elements are color-coordinated with the lining and other overlays.
