Test Report

Choosing a partner for the marsupial - hoover bag

At some point, every hoover bag is full and needs to be changed. Often, third-party bags are much cheaper than the originals. But do the hoovers vacuum just as well with them? test put 19 bag copies up against the house brands of AEG, Bosch and Miele ? in hoovers of the three brands. The test shows: Third-party bags from Swirl and Co. are often just as good as the expensive original bags from the hoover manufacturer ? and sometimes only cost half as much. Sometimes, however, the cheating ends with unpleasant surprises. Some of the filter bags tested were leaky, one even burst open.
