Apple is likely to unveil new products on 14 September 2021. The star of the show is undoubtedly the iPhone 13. Yet, in addition to the new smartphone flagship by Apple, other product categories such as Airpods and the Apple Watch are also expected to be presented.

Apple watch series 7
The Apple Watch is and will remain the Apple Watch. But if you’re hoping for new features, you’ll probably have to wait for another year, according to rumours.
Possible delay in Watch production
According to Mark Gurman, Apple specialist at Bloomberg, production of the upcoming Apple Watch is expected to be delayed due to the design of the new display. Therefore, Gurman sees the following possible scenarios:
- The announcement of the Apple Watch Series 7 will be pushed back i.e. it won’t happen on 14 September.
- The announcement of the Watch will happen at the September event, but only a limited number of units will be available at the start of sales.
- The announcement will happen, but the sales launch is pushed back.
Gurman suspects that the Apple Watch will be unveiled at the upcoming event, but that only a limited number will be available at launch. That was also the case with the launch of the first Apple Watch in 2015.
Apple Watch 7 in new design
The Apple Watch Series 7 is supposed to sport a new squared-edge design. Just like on the iPhone, the edges are said to be squared, not rounded.
Longer battery life
According to the rumours, Apple has been working on a blood sugar sensor for quite some time. However, it's not supposed to be available on the Apple Watch Series 7 yet. This is reported by the Economic Daily News. The new chip in the Series 7's casing is said to be smaller, which allows for a larger battery.
Apple AirPods 3
Apple's headphones are also more of an iterative update than a revolution on the market, if the rumours are true.
Smaller AirPods 3
Apple is said to be working primarily on the size of the AirPods, as the business journal Bloomberg reports. The third AirPods are expected to look something like the AirPods Pro.
What’s still not certain is whether Apple’s in-ear headphones will have silicone attachments for a better grip or not.
No AirPods Pro features in AirPods 3
Despite the design, the AirPods 3 won't be equipped with the top features of the Pro version, as Bloomberg reports. This means the AirPods 3 will probably not feature Active Noise Cancelling.
