«Borderlands 3» is coming, and here’s the first gameplay trailer
It’s been seven years since the release of the second instalment in this legendary series of looter-shooters. Finally, Gearbox has announced the long-awaited third entry. Get ready for surreal humour, wacky personalities and guns, lots of guns.
Back in 2009, «Borderlands» perfectly captured the zeitgeist with its iconic comic-art style, space-western scenario and a literal tonne of guns. Gearbox had officially invented the looter-shooter. Games like «Destiny» and «The Division» can directly trace their lineage from it.
Recently at PAX East, a games convention in Boston, the gameplay trailer to «Borderlands 3» was debuted. It included a bunch of new and old locations and some familiar faces. You can look forward to endless chaos, crazy enemies and tonnes of action. What about new guns, I hear you ask? How about a billion of them? Including one that can walk on its own.
At the same event, Gearbox presented a UHD remastered edition of all previous «Borderlands»-games as well as all DLC. It will be available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. On the 3. of April. You’ll get the update for free if you already own the games.
