The new launch of Hametum could be a possible alternative to pods or other hygiene products. The brand now offers a medical cleansing foam. It is simply applied to a piece of dry toilet paper. Cleaning is gentle and easy and flushing afterwards is also no problem, as the manufacturer explains: "Contact with the skin causes the foam to liquefy and the toilet paper can simply be disposed of in the toilet" - in stark contrast to wet wipes. As recently as last year, they repeatedly clogged sewage pumps in many cities in northern Germany.

Also suitable for haemorrhoidal disorders

The product is not a medicinal product. However, it can also be used to cleanse the external anal area in the case of haemorrhoids, as Hametum states: It is also suitable before the use of medicines. Witch hazel extract in the texture is said to provide additional care for the skin. According to the brand, the hygiene product contains no preservatives, colourants, alcohol or allergenic fragrances and can be used daily. The small bottle fits in many pockets and is therefore practical for travelling.
