Der8auer overclocks Radeon RX 6900XT to reach over 3.2 GHz

Roman Hartung, better known as der8auer, has set a new milestone in GPU overclocking. The German engineer has overclocked a specially designed RX 6900 XT to 3225 MHz.
With the help of liquid nitrogen, the Liquid Devil Ultimate Radeon RX 6900 XT reached the incredible 3225 MHz mark on der8auer's test bench. And the card remained cool at -87° Celsius. The special card boasts 16-phase VRM and three 8-pin PCIe connectors. It doesn't seem to have a clock rate limiter, making this record possible.
Standard RX-6800-XT or RX-6900-XT cards are fast already, but they’ve been limited to 2.8 and 3.0 GHz, respectively until now. According to unofficial reports, AMD has recently started to supply board partners with chips that have no limitation the Navi 21 XTXH. Roman Hartung must have used one of these for his overclocking world record.
