LG G8X to have a fingerprint sensor in the display

The LG G8X has not yet been officially unveiled, but the first alleged details about its features have already been leaked. It is the first smartphone from LG to feature a fingerprint sensor in the display. It will also have a dual camera and a classic headphone jack.
The Indian price comparison service "Pricebaba" has published the details, including alleged images and a video of the LG G8X.
No time-of-flight camera?
Although sales of the LG G8s, which was unveiled at the MWC in February, have only just begun, work on another version of the LG G8 seems to be well underway. I wouldn't describe the device as a successor.
The images of the G8X show a dual camera on the back, but no fingerprint sensor. This is supposedly located under the 6.2-inch display. A technical feature that LG has so far dispensed with.
Compared to the LG G8, the notch at the top of the display has become smaller. There is still enough space for the front camera. But the time-of-flight camera would be omitted. LG used this in the G8 to allow you to control the smartphone with hand gestures in the air.

A 3.5-millimetre socket can be seen on the underside next to the USB-C port. The audio connection for headphones and microphones, which is missing on more and more smartphones to the displeasure of many, should make potential buyers happy.
Presentation at the IFA?
It is still unclear when LG will officially unveil the G8X. However, the IFA in Berlin at the beginning of September could be a suitable setting.

When I was but a young student, I'd sit in my friend's living room with all my classmates and play on his SuperNES. Since then I've had the opportunity to test out all the newest technology for you. I've done reviews at Curved, Computer Bild and Netzwelt, and have now arrived at Galaxus.de.
