Marbula One: may the fastest marble win

Ramon Schneider
18.2.2020
Translation: Eva Francis

Marbula One is like Formula One with marbles. 16 teams compete in eight Grand Prix Races. This is a YouTube series you shouldn't miss.

The Dutchman Jelle Bakke is the initiator of Marbula One. He’s been organising marble races on his YouTube channel for several years. The most famous of these events are the annual MarbleLympics.

MarbleLympics 2019: Best sporting event of the year

    by Ramon Schneider

To bridge the time until the next edition of the MarbleLympics, Jelle has created the new racing format Marbula One. The teams are the same as always and those of you who know Jelle’s channel are surely familiar with the teams «Savage Speeders», «O’rangers» and «Team Galactic». If not, you'll find detailed team information here. Alternatively, check out this intro video to the race series.

A Grand Prix takes place on a new race track every two to three weeks. According to Jelle, there will be eight in total. The Savage Speedway Grand Prix Race took place on Sunday 16 February. The home track of the Savage Speeders has a track length of 12.81 metres and a track record of 28.11 seconds, which Clementin from team O'rangers set in qualifying. As usual, Greg Woods was the commentator of the race and award ceremony. Enjoy the even in its full length in this video:
