No more sweets: Android Q is called Android 10
by Jan Johannsen
Immediately after Google's announcement that Android Q will be called Android 10, Nokia reveals its schedule for the new version of the operating system. A total of 17 smartphones - from the Nokia 1 to the Nokia 9 Pureview - are on the list for the update.
HMD Global, the manufacturer of Nokia smartphones, promises to provide its devices with Android updates for two years. Security updates are even available for three years. The Android 10 schedule begins in the fourth quarter of 2019 and extends into the second quarter of 2020.
First, HMD Global wants to supply the Nokia 7.1, Nokia 8.1 and Nokia 9 Pureview with Android 10. The fourth quarter of 2019 is set and if you interpret the lines on their graphic as more precise dates, mid-November is probably the target. It should also be noted that availability may vary from region to region.
The Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus and Nokia 7 Plus would follow directly at the beginning of 2020. The Nokia 2.2, Nokia 3.1 Plus, Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 4.2 would be due at the end of January. The Nokia 1 Plus, Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco will follow in March. The Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1, Nokia 5.1 and Nokia 1 will conclude in May 2020.

When I was but a young student, I'd sit in my friend's living room with all my classmates and play on his SuperNES. Since then I've had the opportunity to test out all the newest technology for you. I've done reviews at Curved, Computer Bild and Netzwelt, and have now arrived at Galaxus.de.
