The interminable wait - it's amazing how long 2 years can seem - has come to an end: the Fujifilm X-T2 should be available in September! To show you the successor to the X-T1 in action, we arranged a meeting with Jens Krauer and took a stroll around Zurich. See for yourself what the X-T2 is capable of!

Shooting "Straight out of Camera" with the X-T2

Before I start talking about the technical details: relax and let yourself be seduced by the X-T2's image quality. None of the images have been reworked (wow), they're straight out of the camera. The photos were taken by Jens with the X-T2 and the Fujifilm XF 56mm, f/1.2.

Finally a Fuji camera for 4K video. With Powerboost mode (see details below), you can shoot for up to 30 minutes (30 fps) in 4K. Without Powerboost mode, that's just 10 minutes (30 fps) in 4K and 15 minutes in Full HD. According to Fujifilm, videos have a higher resolution (5120x2880 pixels). What's more, the X-T2 features uncompressed 4K video HDMI output, as well as the Log Gamma "F-Log" option.

More on the X-T1

Jens still has his X-T1 and tells you here what he likes about it. It's clear, the X-T2 has him nailed, but he too still has to wait until September.
