YouTube wants to better protect children with new guidelines

In future, YouTube wants to delete videos with violence or adult content that are aimed at children with false descriptions, tags or headlines.
YouTube wants to better protect children with its new guidelines. As heise.de reports, videos that promise to deal with children and family topics with their headlines, video descriptions or tags but do not do so are now in breach of the guidelines. In particular, violence, sexual, vulgar or other adult topics with the wrong description are a violation of the guidelines. The consequences range from deletion of the video to cancellation of the YouTube channel in the event of repeated violations.
Warning, deletion and blocking
YouTube lists misleading family content including violence, sex, drugs and death. The video portal expects channel operators to provide target group-orientated descriptions, headings and tags. The age restriction should also be activated for adult content. For YouTube, this includes not only dangerous actions that could be imitated by children, but also vulgar language and violence, sex and death in cartoons - provided these are aimed exclusively at adults.
YouTube penalises violations of the guidelines with a warning and deletes the corresponding video. The first two warnings have no further consequences, but after the third warning, YouTube cancels the entire channel. <p

When I was but a young student, I'd sit in my friend's living room with all my classmates and play on his SuperNES. Since then I've had the opportunity to test out all the newest technology for you. I've done reviews at Curved, Computer Bild and Netzwelt, and have now arrived at Galaxus.de.
