The E297 installation relays are electromagnetically operated miniature relays with a width of 18 mm (1 module unit). These installation relays can be used to design a reliable consumer control system. Typically, the installation relays are used in conjunction with a control switch (maintained contact) in applications where lighting, air conditioning, a fan, or similar devices need to be controlled. The device remains in the ON position as long as the control voltage is applied to the coil. When the control voltage is interrupted, the installation relay always returns to its resting position (OFF position). Due to their optimal switching performance, they are also suitable for applications in industrial environments and situations where it is necessary to maintain control over higher power consumers (such as multiple lighting groups). The use of an optimized coil (low power loss = lower operating temperature) ensures trouble-free and safe operation in electrical distribution boards.
