On the Road is a realistic truck simulation developed by the team at toxtronyx for PC. With approximately 6,000 km of highways and over 600 km of country roads, it promises many hours of driving pleasure on German roads. In On the Road, the road networks are represented at a scale of 1:10. Thanks to the collaboration with MAN, the truck models "TGX Efficient Line 2" and "TGX D38" have been meticulously and accurately recreated. The interior and driving behavior of the trucks provide an authentic driving experience. Over 35 recreated highway interchanges, rest areas, picturesque country roads, and challenging city traffic offer the virtual truck driver a diverse environment. Within the complex economic system, players have the opportunity to build their own freight forwarding company. As a freight forwarder, they decide which contracts to accept and hire drivers accordingly. If the company runs successfully, additional vehicles (including trailers) can be purchased and equipped better or more easily. This new truck simulator is rounded off by many sights both inside and outside the cities. Original features such as onboard computers, retarders, transaction controls, and realistic trucks with trailers present further challenges for both young and old PC truckers.
