The 28 dBm Awus USB WLAN stick from Alfa achieves a data rate of up to 150 Mbps by using Atheros hardware technology. It achieves very high ranges and more stable downloads thanks to its very good transmission
and reception strength and the additional 5 dBi omnidirectional antenna. It is excellently suited for logging on to more distant access points. Notebooks and PCs can be equipped with WLAN in a few minutes thanks to the simple and quick setup, without having to convert the devices first.
In most cases, significantly better results are achieved than with the built-in WLAN cards. The adapter can also be converted into an access point. It is excellently suited for logging on to more distant access points. Alternative antennas (e.g. for directional radio) can be easily screwed on through the RP-SMA connector on the adapter.
Note: Operate the unit in Germany only with the "ETSI" zone. According to the regulations in force in Germany, the radiated power (EIRP) of a WLAN device must not exceed 20 dBm (100 mW). Please observe the telecommunications law in your respective country.
