Professional Light Shaping Tool - Aputure Barndoors

The Aputure Barndoors are the optimal solution for shaping your light and preventing light loss. They are specifically designed for the Aputure LS C300d and LS C120d and feature four wings, a designed negative reflector bowl, and a high-quality gel holder.

Velvet Fabric

The Aputure Barndoors consist of four panels, each lined with an inner black velvet fabric to maximize light absorption and virtually eliminate light leakage. While maximum light control is achieved with the included black reflector, the four panels can also be mounted on the standard Aputure silver reflector or the Aputure Fresnel.

Gel Holder

The Aputure Barndoors come with a magnetic gel holder that allows filmmakers to easily add color to their lights.

Honeycomb Grid

The included 30-degree honeycomb grid enables filmmakers to further maximize control as needed.

Black Reflector Plate

The Barndoors utilize a snap-in mounting structure that makes attaching and removing them quick and convenient. In addition to special adapter rings, they can also be mounted on the front of a standard 7-inch reflector, a Fresnel, and other compatible accessories.

Aircraft-Grade Aluminum

The four wings of the Barndoors are made from smooth aluminum to ensure a strong, slim construction that is easy to open and close while remaining incredibly durable. When using color gels with powerful LED lights like the Aputure C300D, the heat can cause the filter gels to warp or burn over time. It is recommended to change color filter sheets every three hours with continuous use. Using ROSCO or LEE is advised for better results.
