The GX501VI is slimmer, more mobile, yet more powerful than a traditional gaming notebook. For high robustness and less weight, the ultra-slim chassis is made of a high-strength magnesium-aluminum alloy. Despite the ultra-compact form factor, the ROG Zephyrus is equipped with the most powerful graphics - and a dedicated cooling system that unlocks the full performance potential at all times.
As soon as the display of the Zephyrus is opened, the chassis lifts by 6 mm in the rear area thanks to the innovative ROG Active Aerodynamic System (AAS). This enables a 20 percent increase in the cooling circuit. The two high-performance fans and five copper headpipes can thus cool all heat-generating components with high efficiency and optimized airflow. The result is 32 percent improved heat dissipation and cooling performance - and overall 20 percent lower system temperatures compared to conventional solutions.
To enable the above-average cooling effect and desktop PC-like gaming ergonomics, the keyboard of the ROG Zephyrus is positioned directly at the bottom edge of the case. On the right is a large touchpad with a digital numeric keypad. The keyboard can be flexibly illuminated in three zones (WASD, QWER, full) via ROG Aura. 30-key anti-ghosting and a pleasant 1.4 mm key drop guarantee extremely precise typing. And last but not least, the keyboard is particularly robustly built and designed for an incredible 20 million keystrokes.
