The DN4 microphone interface from Audix is an innovative solution for transmitting audio signals over Ethernet networks. It integrates an AES67 microphone system that allows for quick and straightforward connections. With the ability to deliver high-quality audio, the DN4 provides all necessary microphone functions, including on-off contact closure and LED status indicators, through a single CAT5 or CAT7 cable with RJ45 connectors. This user-friendly configuration minimizes wiring errors, speeds up installation, and reduces overall costs. The interface features four RJ45 inputs for microphones with single-element pickups and offers two 5V logic outputs per connection. Additionally, high-pass and low-pass filter settings, as well as eight selectable gain levels for each audio channel, are available, all of which can be conveniently configured via software.
