Lightning-fast internet everywhere with Powerline
In no time, any power outlet becomes a secure and fast network connection. The FRITZ!Powerline 540E WLAN Set expands the home network via the internal electrical wiring with speeds of up to 500 MBit/s. The smaller FRITZ!Powerline 510E is best suited for connecting the router, such as a FRITZ!Box, to the Powerline network. At the other end, the FRITZ!Powerline 540E integrates additional network-capable devices like PCs, printers, TVs, Blu-ray players, HiFi systems, or game consoles into the home network with two Fast-Ethernet ports. The latest chipset technology ensures particularly energy-efficient operation at all times.

Secure WLAN with up to 300 MBit/s and high range
The FRITZ!Powerline 540E features a standalone WLAN access point. The WLAN network of the FRITZ!Box can be conveniently extended via Powerline and provided in distant rooms. With maximum security through WPA2 encryption, easy connection of WLAN devices via WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), data rates of up to 300 MBit/s, and MIMO (more range for the required data rates), the FRITZ!Powerline 540E offers maximum comfort and flexibility for wireless surfing and home networking.

Immediate setup
One of the special features of the FRITZ!Powerline 540E WLAN Set is the factory pre-encryption, which allows for immediate and secure operation. The two Powerline devices are simply connected via LAN cables to the devices to be networked and plugged into the respective power outlets. Thanks to factory pre-set pairing, the Powerline devices automatically find each other. The connection is thus established and individually encrypted with 128-bit AES (Plug & Play). Additional Powerline devices can be added to the secure FRITZ!Powerline network at the push of a button.
