This transceiver features a receiving function (receiver with 850 nm) and a transmitting function (transmitter with 850 nm) for transmitting optical signals over multimode fiber, taking into account the respective transmission protocol. The Check Point CPAC-TR-25SR-ADP compatible 25GBASE-SR LC Duplex SFP28 is suitable for use in common hardware platforms such as switches, routers, storage systems, load balancers, and measurement devices that officially support the original Check Point CPAC-TR-25SR-ADP 25GBASE-SR LC Duplex SFP28. Each transceiver supports Ethernet, Fibre Channel over Ethernet, or SDH/SONET high-speed applications of up to 25 G per second.
