The celexon DVI Dual Link cable transmits signals with a resolution of up to 2K (2560x1600p @60Hz with 10-bit color depth). With a color subsampling of 4:4:4, all brightness and image information is transmitted in full sharpness. The higher resolution is achieved through the Dual Link method. DVI Single Link can only transmit resolutions up to Full HD (1920x1080p @60Hz). The video data is transmitted via TMDS over 4 data lines. In the Dual Link method, the video data is distributed across two TMDS transmitters, which doubles the clock frequency to 330 MHz, allowing resolutions of up to 2560x1600 pixels at a refresh rate of 60 Hertz. Thanks to the two screws on the connector, the plugs can be easily and securely screwed into the device ports, preventing accidental disconnection.
