Celexon

The Celexon Rollo Professional series screen is characterised by the excellent workmanship of all materials and components used. With the matt white coating and a gain factor of 1.2, a very good colour reproduction is achieved. Even in bright light conditions, the projected image appears rich in contrast and offers sufficient depth. Ideal for presentations and home cinema. The screen has a gain factor of 1.2, which is optimised for projections with LCD and DLP projectors and allows a wide viewing angle. This makes the Rollo Professional series ideal for high-quality seminar rooms or home cinemas. Black edge and back. A black back ensures that no light is lost and that your projection always looks clear. This means you can also use the screen in front of a window pane without any problems. A black border on the left, right and bottom as well as a black leading edge at the top also ensure increased contrast and better flatness of the screen surface.

Aspect ratio

Describes the format of image width to image height, with 16:9 being the common TV and office standard. Values such as 21:9 or 32:9 stand for extremely wide monitors, which often replace two old screens next to each other.

Gain factor

The light amplification factor, or gain factor, is an important factor when selecting a screen. Factor tells you something about the reflective properties. An ordinary white sheet of paper has a gain factor of about 1.0. It scatters the incident light homogeneously and diffusely in all directions. Thus it appears practically always equally bright, no matter from which angle you look at it.

Picture walls with a gain above 1.0 try to reflect a certain amount of light more specifically towards the audience, which usually sits axially in front of the picture. Developers achieve this through special surfaces and coatings. They take, so to speak, a small step towards the properties of a mirror. A gain of 2.0 describes a screen that - measured on axis - reflects twice as much light as a perfectly diffuse surface with 1.0. This is why we speak of amplification.
