Product details
Ceiling access point with PoE. WLAN Standard: IEEE 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5), IEEE 802.11n (Wi-Fi 4). Data transfer rates of up to 300 Mbit/s on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbit/s on 5 GHz. Features: Access Point, Bridge, Guest WLAN, PoE, RADIUS, VLAN, Wave 2. Installation: Ceiling. Multi-User Multiple Input Multiple Output (MU-MIMO). As part of the Wave 2 evolution of the 802.11ac standard, Multi-User MIMO technology has been introduced. By utilizing Multi-User MIMO, this device can stream data to multiple devices simultaneously. This allows your WLAN network to deliver faster throughput to each connected client, resulting in quicker downloads and lag-free streaming for your devices. WLAN standard 802.11ac offers up to twice the data throughput compared to older standards. This improvement is achieved by widening the transmission bandwidth. Additionally, with 802.11ac, the number of parallel data streams (Multiple Input Multiple Output, MIMO) can be increased to up to eight MIMO streams, while the 802.11n standard defines a maximum of four MIMO streams. Large data volumes, such as videos and backups, are not an issue with this WLAN speed. Easy installation thanks to PoE. This network-capable device is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE) through the LAN cable. The main advantage of PoE is that you do not need a power supply cable. This allows you to install Ethernet-connected devices in hard-to-reach places or in areas where many cables would be disruptive. You save on installation costs and can increase the reliability of connected devices by using a centralized uninterruptible power supply (UPS) if desired.
