The PoE splitter delivers data and power over a single Ethernet cable to devices that do not support Power over Ethernet. Simply connect the input of the splitter to a PoE switch or PoE injector, and the output side to a non-PoE network device such as an access point, IP phone, or camera to provide power and data. The extender is powered via PoE itself, so no additional power supply is required. The output voltage can be adjusted to 12V or 24V using a dip switch. This splitter thus extends the network to areas where you want to place network devices for which no power outlets are available.
