The built-in Texas Instruments PCM9211 Class-D amplifier allows the R1380T to effortlessly deliver 42 watts of power with crisp clear highs and rich full bass through the 4-inch woofer and front bass reflex port. The system consists of one active and one passive speaker. On the side of the active speaker are rotary controls that allow you to adjust bass, treble, and volume to your personal preferences. The package also includes a remote control that allows you to adjust the volume or mute the speakers from the comfort of your sofa. The amplifier and power supply are integrated into the active speaker and the speaker is connected directly to the power outlet via a power cable. The passive speaker is connected to the active speaker via the included speaker cable.
