The EnGenius PoE Injector is designed to easily extend the range of wired connections over Ethernet cables, avoiding long power lines that can pose hazards and incidents.
The EPE-1212 is a small and compact standalone product. With its Power over Ethernet function, it can extend the range of wired connections over Ethernet cables and reduce the risks associated with long power lines. The EPE-1212 provides a 24V/1A power supply with a standard pinout for Ethernet cables.
Pins 1, 2, 3, and 6 are used for data transmission, while pins 4, 5, 7, and 8 supply power to the device.
The EPE-1212 PoE delivers safe energy over Category 5 cables. By sending 24V DC, Ethernet devices such as wireless LAN access points, IP phones, and webcams can be powered remotely. It is particularly designed for use in outdoor network installations and low port density setups.
