The equip 119443 DisplayPort 1.4 Active Optical Cable (AOC) is a high-performance cable designed for transmitting digital video signals over long distances. Unlike copper cables, which have limitations regarding the distance signals can travel without degradation, the DisplayPort 1.4 AOC can transmit data up to 100 meters without the need for additional signal amplifiers or repeaters.
The cable supports the DisplayPort 1.4 standard, which offers high bandwidth and supports resolutions of up to 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz. The DisplayPort 1.4 AOC also supports High Dynamic Range (HDR) and Display Stream Compression (DSC), enabling even higher resolutions and refresh rates.
The active component of the cable is a microchip embedded in the connector that converts electrical signals into optical signals, which are then transmitted via fiber optics. Additionally, the cable is immune to electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI), making it ideal for use in environments with high electromagnetic disturbances.
