This T-adapter allows you to connect two devices using only one existing outlet and works as follows: Two rooms (living room with the router and office with two PCs, but only one wall socket) are connected with a network socket each, but two devices need to be connected in the office. You connect the splitter to the socket in the living room and run two network cables from the router into the two ports on the splitter. In the office, you connect the second splitter to the wall socket and connect the two computers there. The splitter is used to connect two devices over a single line (for example, in the wall). Two of these adapters are always required. With RJ-45 couplings, other scenarios can also be covered. Important: 8-wire cables must be used (Cat. 5e or higher). A maximum speed of 100 MBit/s is possible. PoE does not work over these connections.
