FTP Cat.5e network cable. The package includes 50 m of cable. This network cable is the most commonly used for setting up local area networks and supports Fast Ethernet (100 Mbps speed) as well as Gigabit Ethernet (1000 MB/s) applications. It consists of 4 twisted pairs of wires to eliminate electromagnetic and crosstalk interference. The wires are made of pure copper with a thickness of 24 AWG and are surrounded by a PE jacket. The diameter of each insulated wire is 0.97 mm. The cable is shielded with aluminum foil and has an additional grounding conductor. Twisted-pair cables are also commonly used in CCTV installations, where a single cable can transmit video signals from multiple cameras as well as power.
