Spectrum Premium PCTG is an excellent alternative to PET-G, which is very popular in the world of 3D printing. PCTG belongs to the same material family - the copolyesters - and features similar ease of printing as PET-G. A very important advantage of the Premium PCTG filament is its increased impact resistance, high dimensional stability, and low shrinkage. The filament combines the best properties of PLA Tough and PET-G. The PCTG material is characterized by a temperature resistance of 76°C, as well as an excellent print surface and higher elasticity. Additional benefits include the high chemical resistance of the printed models. Elements made with transparent colors of Spectrum Premium PCTG exhibit greater clarity than their PET-G counterparts. This means that it is possible to achieve an effect close to transparency with a low number of outer contours. A heated build chamber is not required for printing. Applications include visual and functional prototyping, matching tests, conceptual models, and production tools.
