The Windforce 3X cooling system features three 80mm unique blade fans with alternate spinning, six composite copper heat pipes, a large copper plate for direct touch to the GPU, and a 3D active fan, all of which work together to provide high-efficiency heat dissipation. Alternate spinning reduces the turbulence of adjacent fans and increases air pressure. Gigabyte designs the adjacent fans to spin in opposite directions, aligning the airflow direction between the two fans, which reduces turbulence and enhances airflow pressure. The 3D active fan offers semi-passive cooling, keeping the fans off when the GPU is under low load or in low power games. The airflow is split by the triangular fan edge and guided smoothly through the 3D stripe curve on the fan surface.
