Product details

The Gateron switches are compatible with SMD LEDs and can be illuminated through the transparent housing. With the MX(+) connection, the switches can also be used in keyboards equipped with Cherry MX switches. To ensure maximum compatibility, Cherry MX keycaps are also compatible. With a lifespan of 50 million keystrokes, Gateron switches are very durable. The typing feel of the Gateron switches is very pleasant, as the switches are smoother yet still tactile. This allows for a completely new typing and gaming experience. The Gateron switches offer significant improvements over the (still) market-dominating Cherry switches. The Gateron Red switches are the most popular among gamers. They are very smooth and allow for very fast key presses. The actuation point is not noticeable in the linear switch, and there is no audible click. The very low actuation force of 45 g makes them ideal for rapid multiple inputs in the heat of battle.
