The RJ45 connector is quick and easy to install on CAT cables thanks to its practical folding mechanism. Additionally, no extra tools are required due to the LSA mounting technology. The individual wires are placed onto the color-coded contacts and secured by simply pressing the connector housing together. This field-terminable network connector is suitable for round cables with solid conductors AWG 22/1 - 24/1 and stranded conductors AWG 22/7 - 24/7. For quick, tool-free assembly on network cables, the connector housing is simply pressed together, and the strain relief is screwed in place. The CAT-6 connector supports Power over Ethernet (PoE++), 4PPoE, and Ultra PoE according to IEEE802.3bt, as well as being backward compatible with 10GBase-T. The RJ45 connector is designed for terminating a CAT-6 installation cable to create a network cable of custom length.
