The GWN7661 is a wall-mounted 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 access point that offers three Gigabit network ports to provide Ethernet for IP phones, computers, and similar devices, while one Gigabit network port is available for a PoE/PoE+ uplink. It delivers a wireless throughput rate of 1.77 Gbps and features four Gigabit wireless ports that utilize dual-band 2×2:2 MU-MIMO technology with DL/UL OFDMA. The device supports over 500 simultaneous Wi-Fi client devices and includes automatic power adjustment with automatic detection of PoE or PoE+. Advanced QoS ensures real-time performance for low-latency applications. Security features include secure boot against hacking and blocking critical data/controls via digital signatures, a unique security certificate, and a random default password per device. The integrated controller manages up to 50 local GWN access points, while GWN.Cloud offers unlimited access point management and GWN Manager enables on-site access point management.
