The GWN7661 is an in-wall 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 access point that offers three Gigabit network ports to provide Ethernet to IP phones, computers, and similar devices while providing a Gigabit network port for an uplink with PoE/PoE+. It features 1.77 Gbps wireless throughput and four Gigabit wireless ports, utilizing dual band 2×2:2 MU-MIMO with DL/UL OFDMA technology. The device supports up to 500+ concurrent Wi-Fi client devices and includes self-power adjustment with automatic detection of PoE or PoE+. Advanced QoS ensures real-time performance of low-latency applications. Security features include secure start against hacking and blocking of critical data/control via digital signatures, a unique security certificate, and a random default password per device. The integrated controller manages up to 50 local GWN access points, while GWN.Cloud provides unlimited access point management and GWN Manager offers on-premise software access point management.
