Product details

SAS connection cable, Mini SAS SFF8087 (36pin) to 4x SATA, "Crossover" wiring (forward breakout, OCF), for connecting drives or backplanes to host controllers with an SFF8087 connection. Please pay attention to the wiring of this cable! Depending on the existing devices, you may need one of the cables 27620 or 27620A with "straight" 1:1 wiring (reverse, OCR) instead. Please check with the respective device manufacturers in advance. A functioning connection can only be established when using the correct wiring. Normal use: SAS controller to SATA drives corresponds to forward breakout, SATA controller to SAS backplane corresponds to reverse breakout.
