Product details

Meet today's storage demands and prepare for the growing requirements of tomorrow with the Intel SSD 660p series, based on Intel's QLC 3D NAND technology. The Intel SSD 660p is the industry's first QLC-based client PCIe SSD. Thanks to Intel's innovative QLC technology, the Intel SSD 660p offers higher capacities at lower costs compared to TLC-based options. This SSD transfers data using PCI-Express, significantly surpassing traditional SATA SSDs in terms of transfer rates. M.2 SSDs are installed via the M.2 socket on the motherboard. Their compact dimensions make them particularly suitable for use in ultrabooks and mini-PCs, but they can also be used in standard computers. In systems with NVMe support, this SSD truly shines. You benefit from high throughput, high IOPS, and low latency. Unlike the older AHCI protocol, which was designed for traditional spinning drives, NVMe prevents performance drops, offers faster transfers of large data volumes, increased boot speeds, and improved system responsiveness. Quad-Level Cells (QLC) can write four bits per cell, significantly increasing the capacity of NAND chips. QLC NAND stores more data than TLC-based memory, allowing for up to 2x more capacity in the same footprint. This makes QLC NAND ideal for use in consumer SSDs with large storage capacities. The advantages of an SSD over a traditional hard drive include significantly shorter access times, lower energy consumption, and greatly increased shock resistance. This means your operating system boots faster, generates less heat, and your data remains intact even under greater shocks. Another advantage is the very high lifespan, ensuring your data remains preserved for a long time.
