To protect the installed hardware and the power supply itself, we have made no compromises and equipped the power supplies of the GPS series with a total of five protective circuits (OPP, SCP, OVP, OCP and NLP). The entire GPS series is equipped with a quiet 140mm fan and an intelligent fan control, or IFC for short. The IFC ensures that the fan of the power supply unit only starts cooling when the internal temperature of the power supply unit exceeds 65°C. If the internal temperature falls below 65°C, the fan is switched off. If the internal temperature falls below 65°C, the fan is switched back to idle mode - this keeps the noise level of the power supply extremely low. We have also kept an eye on the greatest possible efficiency when it comes to the variety of connections and, with the exception of the 20+4-pin connection, have designed all the other cable harnesses as flat ribbon versions - this saves space and time when laying cables. Among other things, the GPS-800 has four PCIe 6+2pin and six S-ATA connectors. With 66A on the 12V line, there is more than enough power available for powerful hardware.
