The JVCU435 is an Ultra HD 4K webcam that offers ePTZ functionality (electronic pan, tilt, and zoom) via remote control. It can also be easily rotated 360° to the left or right to find the optimal recording position. Thanks to the universal clip, the webcam can be easily attached to your PC, laptop, or monitor; it can also be used with a tripod.

The built-in Sony CMOS sensor in the JVCU435 has an 8 MP resolution, delivering high-quality video images in 4K UHD resolution at 30 frames per second. The automatic image adjustment optimizes the picture when lighting conditions change. Additionally, the Sony sensor has a large aperture of 1:1.6, ensuring clear and sharp images, even in low light conditions, providing bright and clear video footage.

Two built-in highly sensitive omnidirectional microphones ensure clear sound quality. The JVCU435 comes with a convenient infrared remote control that supports 5x digital zoom and ePTZ functionality to zoom in on the image and move it horizontally and vertically.

With the smart clip, this webcam can be mounted on a monitor or on a tripod using the ¼" tripod mount. The lens can be manually covered using the lens cap or the corresponding button on the remote control to protect your privacy.

Two status LEDs indicate the camera's status: red means standby, green means in operation. No driver is required for Windows, MacOS, or Chrome OS. Simply connect your computer or laptop with the 1.8 m long USB cable, and you're ready to go.

The JVCU Series Companion App is a free utility for Windows and Apple MacOS that you can download. It allows you to adjust various image settings and change the display modes to your liking.

Key specifications

Image sensor resolution

The image sensor resolution results from the number of pixels in millions. For most applications, a resolution of 12-16 megapixels is sufficient. A larger resolution has advantages especially for post-processing, because more image information is available.

Refresh rate

Indicates how often the image on the screen is updated per second. A higher refresh rate results in a smoother and more responsive image.

Image resolution

Image resolution is a colloquial measure of the image size of a raster graphic. It is indicated by the total number of pixels or by the number of columns (width) and rows (height) of a raster graphic.
