The Jinbei Grid limits the soft, diffused light of the Jinbei Umbrella Beauty Dish Softbox in its spread. The grid attachment narrows the light into a tighter cone, creating a more intense and directed light. With the grid attachment, you can illuminate your subject more precisely and with greater control. The combination of the grid, inner, and front diffusers offers numerous options for shaping the flash light in fashion, portrait, or editorial photography.

Using only the grid results in harder, more contrasty, and direct light. By incorporating one or both of the diffusers included with the softbox, you achieve varying degrees of soft, diffused light. When using the grid and diffusers together, you get soft, directed light. The black grid easily attaches to the 16-sided softbox with Velcro. For storage or transport, the grid comes in a lightweight bag that protects it from damage and dirt.
